I now have a new mission in life after seeing the inhumane screw job my brother recently took with this company. They succeeded in forcing him into bankruptcy after weeky paychecks of $37.00, $101.00, and $13.00. An ex-driver myself, I understand slow periods and bad days but this company should be put out of business! I vow to get the word out and sincerely hope others don't make the same mistake and fall victim to their BS promises.

Would love to hear both sides of this story from the company and the actual driver.

Like most in Michigan, my brother had fallen victim to a pretty lousy economy and enrolled in the C-1 driver school in Fort Wayne, IN under the sponsorship of PAM. Once all the preliminaries were over, ie; school orientation, running with a trainer, thats when the trouble began. From sitting for days on end to having loads pulled from him while enroute, it did not take him long to realize that he was paying to work for them. I could tell you many more horror stories but I suggest that you do your research if you are considering taking the plunge. I know it is tough for new drivers but I have to believe you can get your experience under much better circumstances. Good luck to you!

Sorry to hear that. Your "mission" is what this site is all about. I, too, had the same "mission" (thanks to 3 wks w/JB Hunt) when starting this site and we TRY to keep people from going through what your brother went through BEFORE they even start...some simply won't look for this site until AFTER it happens to them. All we all can do is keep on trying. Welcome, we appreciate you wanting to help others see the reality of the trucking industry!

This isn't totally adding up. He had to file bankruptcy after 3 paychecks? :biggrin_25521:
