Roaches is an understatement. The waitresses are required to wear tampons so the crabs can bungee jump.

As far as the upstairs bathroom...I'm sorry I made so much noise, but I was trying to be quiet, but the other guy had hearing problems. :-D

Where that truckstop used to be, Was Plainfield. NOW, Joliet goes all the way to that Stoplight. Joliet will not allow a truck stop anywhere within city limits. They were grandfathered in and allowed to stay open, but they lost their lotto license. Then Subway got closed down because found most of the meat was expired.

Shortly after that they found out guys were renting out the showers as a "cheap" place to play.

That closed the rest of the truck stop down. They were allowed to sell fuel for a short while, but everything had to be pay at the pump. That lasted about 2 weeks while they emptied everything out of that place, and clark pulled out.

    MMMM... cheese fries with bacon.....

There's a mom & pop truck stop in Dwight, IL with a 50's style restaurant. They got some good cheese fries with bacon there. It's the only thing I order when I go there.

By the way, You mentioned the Ethel Burger. I should warn you, My partner has successfully eaten... TWO in one sitting.

He was asked never to return again LOL. He's 6'4" 165lbs.

Why is it always the scrawny guys who can eat like that?? When I was 17 I probably could have done that. I was 6 ft, 165 lbs. Now I'm 220 lbs and can't even finish a 16" pizza by myself any more.

Dont you just hate skinny people like that? I can't even finish the full 9" subs that quizno's has. Heck,a basic ham or turkey sandwich fills me up to much!

Not sure if I qualify as "scrawny"....I don't think so, but I'm not a queen-size woman either. When I sit down to eat, I make it worth my while. But I don't eat all the time, either. I eat a big meal like that maybe twice in a week.

Not that I would make any bets on that Ethyl-Burger.

R-Place T/A Morris,IL I-80 Exit 112. I eat there every chance I get. Great food, fresh bakery and a truckers seating area. Get there early for parking. No reason to go any where else.

Sure there is - you can't go anywhere. Out of hours at that stinkin' little PeeLot - a total bummer!
