I don't have time to get my permit in ME, they require you to mail the app to the state and I don't want to risk it not coming back in time. I got the MO manual and reading it up. Gobble, gobble!

What do you not like about running in New England?

You can download the Missouri CDL booklet. Also christcdl.com has some good practice tests. Good luck!

Sitting at that DC now looking at all the the lightweight 'lil Primes. I don't run for Prime but as much time as I spend at this DC I might as well be:biggrin_25523:

Three things, and you will hear them from drivers all the time.

    1. Too much traffic (until you get north of Bangor, then nothing but moose)!

    2. Too many tolls.

    3. Nowhere to park (except IP who has staked out innumerable secret and undisclosed places to tuck in).

The money is good, though. Although this load I am picking up going to Westborough, MA is not that great, at least not for a New England load.

I do not mind going up into Maine... I get nostalgic passing the Market Street exit in Portsmouth just before crossing the Piscataqua. It is within a mile or so of my old house.

Ain't it lovely! And the little truck stop in Auburn where everyone crowds in... is not bad, really! Just crowded! Maine is still pretty until the snow starts in about a month! lol

Im with Kingson... UNTIL snow falls. Snow is evil... cold wet.... it also causes people to do bad things n get hurt.

On the verge of calling a recruiter!! I'm so nervous but excited all at the same time! I have my class B license but I have never driven anything that bends in the middle, besides pulling a boat or camper..LOL! Wish me luck guys, I have talked my wife to death about this decision and she says go for it, so I am! :biggrin_25526:

I am planning to go to Prime in september for my training had a little medical issue to take care of. I am very excited to get back there, at least I know a little more about what to expect now.
