    you only have to take 1 but if you fail you will get a second shot but if you think you are going to fail stay out longer no reason to get refused over a drug test and it will follow you meaning where ever you go they will see it

    I'm from ma. have app. in with prime do i need have ma. cdl permit before coming an do i need to go to ma. to test out for license?because if get mo. license an come back to ma. must retest everything

    You would be doing yourself a favor if you have your permit before you go. As far as I'm aware (and I don't know all of the ins and outs), you test in MO, and get a temporary change of address to MO, get the MO CDL when you pass....and then go home and xfer it to your home state. As far as I know, all states honor a license from another state and will xfer the MO CDL to the MA CDL.

    Mass is one of those states that will NOT honor another a CDL from another state unless it is (i think) 2 years old. To transfer a MO CDL to MA before you've had it for 2 years, you would have to retest in MA.

    *not 100% sure on it being 2 years, but I clearly remember a student of a friend of mine was having this problem because he called me about it.

    I have a few questions I was hoping someone on here could answer. First, my husband just started as a trainee at Prime. He has been out a few weeks, but some of the things I have read on this site don't jive with how his trainer is training,...I don't want to step on toes, and no, my man isn't complaining, but I am the one who is concerned. First, day two of driving a big rig for the first time my man was driving at night. Is this normal? I read somewhere on this posting that trainees shouldn't be driving at night to start the first week, and that night driving hours don't count towards the 100 hours, and he shouldn't be driving more than 5 hours a day? Is this just old info? because my man is driving up to 11 hours a day- and his trainer only uses him on night driving now- and once he fell asleep while my man was driving...and my man saw on his log that he was logged out as sleeping, when really his trainer was sleeping and my husband was waiting in line to make a drop.... Is this right? Also, my husbands trainer is leasing his rig, and a few days ago the check engine light came on, but the trainer isn't stopping to get it check or fixed...I am just a concerned wife...I don't want to cuddle my husband, but I want him home safe. He has driven at night in some of the worst storms he has ever been in, and told the trainer he wasn't comfortable doing so because he had no experience with hail/rain/lightening/ at night driving...his trainer just kept talking on his cell and calmly told my man that he should get use to it because he will have to drive in it in the future--even though they had plenty of time for the next drop...enough to safely stop for the storm to pass. Please tell me I am just being overprotective and nothing is wrong with this scenerio.My husband doesn't want to be with this trainer anymore but is concerned that if he requested another one he will be washed out for working for prime...all responses are appreciated. thank you!
