Markus, I forgot to tell you that my cousin, who just started driving for Central Refrigerated, is 63.
So if he can do it......................
Have fun with it. Maybe you'll have to start your own thread and tell us about your adventures.
Good luck with your testing and let us know how you do.

its funny that you almost forgot how to use a remote. I hate switching between my pickup and my big truck.

Hey Wedge when your home and out running errands make sure you aren't pulling through the scales in your car! I'm sure you will catch yourself making wide turns too!
NewNashGuy Thanks this. -
Only one more day, thank goodness. -
Hey Wedge
glad you are home and enjoying yourself and it's funny, Dave laughed when I read your post about driving the car-he said you forget how to back up and how small your car really is, blind spots etc when you have been in the big truck!
Hope you enjoy your time off and we can hear from you more often if you have your laptop issue fixed???!!
Coffee still waitin' on ya bro!!!! -
I did park once without needing to adjust. Glad I'm back out on the road.
My new power cord works fine (tested it in my car). If I go dark all of a sudden you'll know it whacked my computer.
I'm in Pageland SC waiting for the clock to move. First dispatch back from home time was to a Walmart DC with an 0600 delivery appointment. I've been to many different Walmart DC's, but this one is the slowest on the face of the earth.Ended up needing to take my 10 at this teeny-tiny TS about 1500 feet from the DC.
Now I'm waiting for time to pass so I can make a run to Duncan SC, but it doesn't deliver until 0700, a live un-load. I have to kill time because I don't want to get caught short on hours waiting.
Can't wait to have that coffee, Sammycat. I hope I can give you enough lead time if they dispatch me up into your neighborhood. -
Hello Everyone.
First, the good news: the new power supply cable for my laptop works great! The charging problem is over with.
The bad news: my Driver Tech died in this big rain storm I went through last night in Cleveland, so I have to do everything (logs, navigation, etc.) just like the days past.
It's not that big of a deal, but modern technology can make you depend on it. I'm only mentioning it because it's something that I'm glad I was prepared for. I would put in to a USX terminal for repairs, but I'm under load with a critical delivery appointment and no other truck is available.
So I'm outside Cleveland Ohio, waiting for my trailer to be loaded and I'll head to NJ for an early AM delivery.
Well, just wanted to check in and let everyone know about the power cable (YAHOO!!).
Got to run.
Thanks for reading.
