We haven't sat very long waiting to load/unload. They want us out ASAP, usually cause were blocking their driveway lol I'll keep my skateboard. I enjoy the hard work. O, n a few places we go ARE PRELOADED. Even if not, doesn't usually take long to load.
I hope you continue posting after you get your own truck, ORD. Many don't once they get off a trainer's truck and I sure will be interested to read your experiences as the winter deepens. "Hard work" in good, even cool, weather seems like it could be very different from "hard work" in the dark, in biting, cold wind, with snow on the ground, and blowing snow on the roadways.
I like reefer load securment. I clocked myself at 00:03:24 cab door, close doors and lock, to cab door today while in no rush.. Ive kinda slacked off now that the weather is cooler... Im much faster in the summer and winter. I bet when it gets down to -10 here in about 2 months I'll be back to world record form.
Ill definitly keep posting. Im accustomed to working outside in the cold... I worked on a boat for 3yrs. I can handle it
Not quite.... but have worked outside when it was -10 actual air temp.... Thats when I was stuck in Ohio working construction outside in winter. It will suck, but Ill deal with it, no matter what anyone says
