Thanks for the encouraging words I've got a 2 part series already edited talking about preparing for PSD, things to bring, expectations, etc. Then I've got a couple of mini episodes documenting the first couple days of actual training on-the-road. What's frustrating is that I've got so many ideas for the diaries, but I find myself short on time and hard drive space...LOL. It's a Kodak Zi6 pocket cam set on HD writing to a 4gb SD memory card. The quality is great, but I need to get another AC adapter for this thing cause it eats batteries for breakfast. I'm lucky to get an hour before I have to change batteries. I had rechargable AAs somewhere but I think they're at the house somewhere. My instructor bought me a mini tripod to set up wherever I needed to make a shot. He's given me a whole bunch of ideas to do later on. The diaries aren't going to be this boring for long. With a better editor, laptop, and setup, I plan on making a whole gambit of goodies. A little humor, a little informative, and all me. LOL
TRIFECTA BAAAAAABBY!!!! Flying colors, one shot, one kill Glad that's out of the way. Hooking up with a flatbed trainer in the next couple days found via these boards and looking forward to turning the wheels towards my A seat! Everyone's encouragement and tips really helped. I can't thank you guys enough. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you on the road and shaking your hand! ~Kyle The Alaskan Sourdough
Was that you who came into class today around 4:30-5:00? Someone came in there today saying they got the trifecta.
Wasn't me...LOL. I was too busy with getting that "Student Driver" card off my neck and coordinating with flatbed dispatch. I plan on visiting Terri tomorrow and I am staying on campus, so you may see me Look for the sunglasses and Stetson, haha.
