If you're having issues with data usage.

    Disable Icloud....

Mine and the wife both had issues. Constant up and down stream usage throughout the day.

We still back up in the cloud. But it's done manually now.

Daily data usage has been reduced significantly.

I've since found additional tweaks to improve overall performance without jailbreaking.

Data usage wouldn't be an issue to me, if AT&T had unlimited data plans. But I use an extensive amount during my time on the road streaming audio.

    +1!!!

Stupidist thing they did dropping their unlimited data. I would be with either att or verizon if they didn't do that. But I am with sprint because like you I need unlimited data.

Hopefully if they (sprint) ever dumps their unlimited we will be grandfathered in like att has done.

Actually, I don't need unlimited. 2 gig is good enough. I'm wi-fi much of the time at home or at a terminal. But that screwed up I-cloud can quickly eat a lot of data if left unleashed.

I opted for the 2 gig plan over the 4. Because the overage cost equals out, if I go over.

I got the 4gb plan through AT&T so I can use my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad. (which is how I'm posting here now)

AT&T and Verizon will come back out with the unlimited plan as soon as the market levels out and the start losing customers. It's all a game of supply and demand. If AT&T and Verizon are popular, then it makes good business sense to lose the unlimited plans.
