I've seen you give some good advice, vin. But the advance advice is wrong. The wire fee WILL be charged to you no matter what. Only then can you request that your FM remove the charge for the wire. Of course, be sure that the FM follows through..........they have this strange way of forgetting such things........................
Only in the context it was put. Your original numbers were pretty close. That's .22 a mile SPLIT (if that's a lie, they told here). How many CRST teams are getting 5000 miles a week at the moment? 5K miles would be $550 before taxes per driver.
That was not the case with me. One of my co-drivers was accidently charged once but he did get reimbursed. I was never charged the $4 as long as I turned in receipts. We did have an exceptional FM though.
