    Hi there,
I'm new to the forum and was wondering if you could help with a question I have. I drove for Swift several years ago, and had no problems as far as driving is concerned. Nothing negative on my DAC. I did quit the company, so it does state on my DAC that I would need to be interviewed prior to being rehired. I've been driving locally the last 4 years. 3 with a ready mix concrete company before being laid off due to the economy, and 1 with a residential trash company. I ended up getting in an accident with the trash company, and since they had a zero tolerance policy they fired me. I'm thinking of going back out on the road with Central, but am concerned that this would diqualify me. Do I have to tell them that I was fired for an accident, or can I say we had a disagreement? Can these big companies find everything out even though the trash company said they could only tell other companies very limited info? Any info and advice you can share with me would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Be honest and tell them everything or they can find out. If they do, your done on the spot.

No they don't pay for experience. They may just push you into leasing if you want to drive for them. They are hit and miss on if they hire experience.

Do they push all their drivers into a lease, or are they OK if you decide to stay a company driver?

I know several people that have stayed company... Just let them know you have no interest in leasing.

    BiggDaddy Thanks this.
