Thanks trkrshoney. Looking forward to it. This is a great site. N ot everyone fussing about how stevens did them wrong, nobody likes a crybaby. Cant wait to get my career moving. I only have one question, for this thread has awnsered the rest. i am going to dallas via wyoming which has been my home for 8 years now. If everyyhing goes well and i am hired i am changing my home of record to atlanta georgia, where i am from. Will it be hard to get days off in atlanta?

It should be fairly easy to get time off in Atlanta, we have a lot of receivers in the vicinity and a lot of loads travel through as well.

Evidently the 'new' customer was the shipper in Irvindale, CA. Emptying out at Safeway now. Supposed to deliver at 3-5, got the load so late we told them 730. Ran into snowstorm just before we got to Monument and had to shutdown at the Diamond-Shamrock until the roads cleared up. Of course we lost our nice pre-plan going from Liberal to Lakeland, FL. Now we are picking up at Liberal and headed to Boston, and we still don't have an EZPass. Amazing thing is both loads have the same check-in time, guess there was a trainer that didn't want to go to Boston.

Why is there snow on the ground when it is blowing horizontally at 60mph? Yes I am bored.

I live in casper WY. Atlanta will be much easier for home time. Lots of loads into and out of that area. As opposed to wY, 1 to casper per week, w to worland per week and the many to cheyenne every day. Frieght out slim to none and none most weeks.

Yes it melts due to friction every 500 ft and falls to the ground and reforms as an ice pellet. Pick up and melt again.

Thanks TLeaheart. I am going to miss wyoming so much. Sheridan is the best place i have ever lived. Time to get back to georgia though. Cant wait to get to dallas and see if i get hired. The recruiter say's i am good to go with my back ground, and job history. Said they did not need my tax info because i worked for a payroll company. They said that they called my last job. We will see. wish me luck, and y'all be safe.
