Do not go to work for link america, they are very bad about paying you. And then they wonder why they cant keep drivers. Thier people net tablets dont work right half the time, bad company stay away from them

Do you care to be more specific? I've been here over a year and have been paid on time everytime. Had very few discrepancies with some scale tickets but always came in on the next week check.

If peoplenet has problems, that's peoplenets fault, not Link Americas.

I don't see how any of these guys can survive on table scraps! The sad thing is they will get on forums like this after getting 1500 mile pay check and praise how great their dispatcher and company are because they know you by name!

Everyone of these guys giddy over 2300 miles a week u can do better there are better companies out there just keep looking and don't stop till u find one. I had to work for several scrubs before I found my dream job. I work for a small company in my hometown we have 10 drivers all telephone dispatch no Qualcomm no tattle-tale on the truck. 2002 classic xl no speed or horsepower limitations. I run 5 days home on weekends and get 28.5 % of line haul which is about 46 cpm at around 3500. To date I have not seen check under 1500 after taxes

Good companies are out there just keep looking and in this industry the smaller the better

Keep it between the ditches and greasy side down!

Man, I'm too old to be cheating log books, running 3500 miles in five to six days. I'm glad you're happy where you are. I'm happy with my $740 after taxes and child support per week. Don't knock on us because we're just as happy where we are as you are where you're at. :)

The trick is to run less miles for more money.

3500 miles every week, working 5 days a week? Wow, so that poster drives 700 miles every work day.

Not impossible I guess, but sounds far fetched.

    Guess I didn't explain myself well enough. I never said I run 3500 a week. 46cpm @ 3500 is about the equivalent
Of 28.5% of linehaul I average about 2850 mpw. Probably is 3500 or more if I run over the weekend but I rarely run over the weekend unless I get that load I just can't resist.
