    Financed with interest added. Depending on your credit, it could cost the same

    Not really ( besides I was only point out an ERROR in the MATH )

    $72,000 $0 Down and at 15.9% interest over 5 years is $403.15 per week for a total of $104,819.00. Taxes Extra ( thats just the truck , no idea what else gets included in the lease deal at JC )

    Actually...you need to check your math.
    Intrest=(principle)(rate)(time)
    For $72,000 and a 15.9% APR (non compounded)
    I=(72,000)(.159)(5)
    I=$129,240 or $497.08/wk

    Besides, all of the prices for a 2010 Prostar with 300000 miles that I have looked at have come in between $78,000 and $94,000 depending on options. Let's not even mention:

    -Base Plate
    -Fuel Tax
    -Road Tax
    -Permits
    Owners' Insurance Costs including
    -Tractor Premium
    -Bobtail Premium
    -Purchasing an extended warranty (All JCT tractors have them.)

    So...
    At $78,000...you're final payout is is $140,010 or $538.50/wk
    At $94,000...$168,730 or $648.96/wk

    I conclude that JCT's prices are more than fair IF you do the math correctly. It also shows you why good credit is a necessity when purchasing big ticket items.

    I'm not very good at math but in what world is paying 147k for a truck that had 300k miles on it a good deal?

    if you get out there and drive instead of sitting around trying to figure out math problems, you could pay it off early, and save all that interest.

    With the money most JCT lease guys make now they can barely take home enough money to pay their bills so how the heck are they going to pay extra to pay the truck off early?
