Must be a union driver because every one I have seen drives the oldest crappiest midroof trucks in the SNI fleet. Schneider probably doesn't want them to get too comfortable.

Well this is something new and unexpected. Delivered a load to the WalMart DC in Wintersville, OH. My next assignment is covering a delivery route with 3 stops. First time I've pulled a WalMart trailer. Going to drive to the first store tonight and deliver tomorrow morning.

They'll probably keep you there over the labor day weekend since some of the drivers probably are off. I was there on memorial day weekend running those loads. Man, it's a pain in the ### pulling those loads out on the 25mph winding up and downhill side roads around there, especially if you have to head up towards Canton.

Yea, the road you are talking about is OH SR 43. It's a pain in the ### and I could smell my brakes cooking by the time I rolled in the gate to the DC. After chatting with a few of the dedicated guys there I found out about US 22/US 250 from the south end. It's about 10-15 miles longer, but mostly flat. I went that way when I left and it is much better. I am staying at the first store tonight and will deliver tomorrow morning. Then I have another one ~60 miles away and the last stop is ~10 miles from that.

Well, another unexpected turn of events. After my final stop on this route I am picking up another load and running 2327 miles to Tacoma Washington. This is now my longest trip ever and my first time driving a truck West of I-35. Probably going to take a 34 once I get there, I have some friends out there I'm going to try to meet up with. :headbang:

    Okay....now I'm jealous. :biggrin_2552:

I've been west of I-35 once in 2 years. Dead of winter too, ######.

And now I have another 72 miles added onto it because when they assigned it they forgot that I have a WalMart trailer not a company box. So now they are going to deadhead me to Seville first to swap empties and then back to my pickup.
