Going to call about routing tomorrow. Instead of routing i65 from Indy straight into Birmingham it wants me to fuel in Lebanon, TN (east of Nashville) then jump down to i24 to i59 back south. Does that seem a bit silly or is it just me?

If you don't want to call then drive till you hit south Tennessee, send a macro 18, put an "x" where your fuel level is and it will send you a new route going through Birmingham. Trust me, it works every time.Treefork Thanks this. -
Gonna drop this flat and start on van loads. They're overbooked in Georgia for van so I'm switching over to help out. Plus it'll increase my chances of getting back to ellenwood on time

Well my intresting day was sucky, Started my day out with a hours of work trying to get my truck out of the pit it was in and onto the road. Called in to see about a load. I get a van load going to GP in Green Bay, no big deal till i get to my fuel stop. Hit the cat scale to make sure i am legal, I am 1500 over on my drives. Slid the tandems around got it legal. I had to skip fueling due to the scale 5 miles down the road from there.
Idjiot drivers all day long cutting me off and slush and icy roads. Now i am just waiting for my relay load to arrive in Appleton so i can head to the oil fields for a wensday delivery. I am going back home once i get the load and spend the news years with the family. dont have to leave till tuesday to make it on time. -
Well, I saw my doc face to face yesterday and called Roehl to let them know my doctor note will be faxed to them at any time. I guess it's time I stop my extended break and start being a truck driver again. I just need to go somewhere to do a "fast track" (a bit of paperwork) and get my truck. I imagine I'll be told what the plan is on Monday.
This month or so off has been great, and I really enjoy being with my family, but I do sorta miss being on the road. If they get me in for this fast track stuff right away, that's cool. If they can't get me in right away, that's cool too. My main goal is to just to get a date to when it'll all happen.DrtyDiesel and Meltom Thank this.
