I have to disaggree with you you'd have to plate a truck for near 40,000 to haul 20,000. truck and trailer weigh around 18,000 empty.
15,000 is about the safe working limit. After going on six years, I find I make more money hauling under 12,000 than I did pushing 15,000 every load.
You save fuel and wear and tear on your equipment.
I don't even fool with cheap Ltl stuff anymore unless it pays at least 2.15 or more headed out and 1.65 headed homeward, otherwise I bounce empty.

Uship is garbage!! If you are trying to get all your loads off of Uship you are certain to fail. You are not dealing with shipping professionals on Uship. These are just normal people wanting to ship their garbage from point A to B and from what I can tell most of the loads are not even real. They are just testing the waters to see how much it would cost. Then there is the Uship crap you have to deal with such as the money for the load goes through them and then to the truck. Who the Hell ever heard of a loadboard getting the money for a shipment. Its trash, run far and run fast.

M&H Logistics (Gary from CA) is a big mistake. You are wasting your money with him and are better off using a loadboard like truckstop.com etc. finding your own loads is not hard at all.

Hey Vetran, didn't you guys hire Gary for a while? What was your experience. People need to know about this guy so they don't waste their time and money.

The best advice I can give anyone is to just google it. I typed in, ltl hotshot dispatch service, and and several popped up. Or, just dispatch yourself!

    truckon and Willpower Thank this.
