got unloaded and assigned a 2 pick. dh 70 in this SLOW state to the second pick because the first pick closes earlier. so now i get to back track 140 miles to grab the first. but since they close an hour later. i'm spending the night.

5 whole days to drive `1500 miles. starting to think i made more with the last company.

sammons is starting to cross my mind more and more.

Thanks panhandle flash. I went to the Pilot of Okeechobee in Medley. I bought some fuel and got the parking card. Luckily the company sends me out with some cash and I will pay the $15.00 per day. It was only a couple miles from our customer in Doral and I can get my reset in as well. Hopefully it wont turn into an unpaid vacation. After talking to some guys from CRST I don't feel to bad. They got multiple trucks in here and some of them are going on to 4 days.

I will need to find an Autoparts store tomorrow to get some supplies since I lost a mounting bolt for the cross fire gauge and have some trailer ABS trouble. At least that will give me something to do during my time here.

    Panhandle flash Thanks this.

Only loads that pay percentage is flat rack and low boy loads . Lowboy also pays $100.00 to drive the piece of equipment off. Military also pays percentage when you go from port to fort Stewart or hunter army airfield. Waart Doc in statesboro pays $350 a turn 75 miles round trip.

Will be hitting a Wally world after we deliver in the morning to get me a new mouse or 3 for my laptop :biggrin_25526: Since the wireless one we have eats through Batteries in a day.

I have to order a new usb for JJ's GPs as he lost it and now can't update the GPS without it.

Guess this company is tired of buying used trucks, to replace they're even older trucks. Got 5 brand new trucks in. To bad there all shakers. Really gonna hate to have to give this cornbinder up, when the time comes. No other truck I've looked at, has as much storge space as this truck!!!
