Heard 2 interesting things today from the RTS safty guy first he was saying that the fmcsa is trying to push legislation banning energy from inside a cmv. Reasoning is they contribute to heart attacks and if you are drinking them then your admitting your a fatigued driver. They are wanting the punishment to be as severe as having alcohol in the truck. Total crap if ya ask me what's next banning coffee and mtn dews? Also heard that Illinois just pasted a state law banning any cell. Phone use in a cmv including using a headset any one hear that one?

 

i'm still trying to figure out how ND is gonna enforce the no smoking ban in ALL vehicles.

 

Isn't that only in company owned Trucks??????

 

No it's in all cmv vehicles because a cmv is considered a work place there's a thread on it in dot regulation section.

Had some great Seafood at a little TS close to Lake Charles LA The seafood platter came with Alligator which I just didn't like the sound of so I made JJ eat it

I might have been born in Germany, but I might have picked up some when I worked and lived in Memphis TN. for a couple years. I am just enjoying the South right now. Almost made it out of Florida today. It has been a while since I have been down in that corner of the country. I am heading to San Antonio tomorrow.
