This had nothing to do with your load being late, you had the time to easily make the trip. After you explained your trip plan they should have said OK and left you to deliver. I call BS, someone wanted the load.

I took a repower that was late because of the time I could make it to the repower point. Loads 2 hours late and Ive been sitting 2 days waiting for them to "fit me in" to get unloaded. I will NEVER EEEEEEEEEVER take a late load to Ontario OR again. And I'm getting loaded out of here going to Tolleson AZ, woopty ###### shhhhh. I just hope it doesn't take me 2 days to get loaded so I can get out of this hell hole.

KMac, you should have refused the repower.

I tried, I was told flat out "the powers that be" wanted it done. My only option would have been to just keep driving and ignore them. It wasn't presented as an option.

Not sure how long I would have sat if I did that.

Yes they tried to give me a three drop load that ended in Newark, NJ two.days later. I told them that delivery would.not be made and I would get Safety involved if I needed to.

That is how I ended up with the CT drop. Of course I pick up tomorrow close to where I would have delivered in New York... probably the same preplan.

Kmac, learn to stand your ground. If you can make the delivery on time, you do NOT have to give it up, no matter what the desk jockey says. I would bet that he was taking care of one of the "special" people.
