Americold likes to be weird. I think they do that in case they need to buy time... Not sure though because they've never taken too long to load me on those. They're the only ones I can think of that do this regularly.

Ok one more just to see if I handle everything correctly here?
I was held at my 01 for 21 hours durning that time I kept getting load info for my next load. I sent a messgae saying waiting to see when I am going to get moving and was told I have to 11 the load. So I did and of course because of the delay leaving my 01 I was late to my 99. On the way down I stopped and took a nap because I was starting to see double I had not slept much the day prior because of the heat and humidity. Delivered at my 99 and ran to pickup and next 0. I was an hour and a half late. While there my 14 runs out so I send a few messages before hand that I will be late to my 02 because if this. Crawl up the hill (3 blocks) to a drop yard to shutdown.

    Did I do anything wrong?
The reason I ask is as I'm sitting here half a sleep I get a call on my phone and my DM leave a message that he wants to talk about what happend today. The only time I hear from him is because he wants to tell me I screwed up. But I don't see how I could have done any thing diffrent.

I will say my stop ended up being an hour because not only had I not sleep but I had not eaten the day before either so I took a 30 min nap used the bathroom and grabbed a bite to eat then go rolling again.

I don't. Get it even if I had that hour I would not have made my 02.

Please some one explain. From the feed back I'm getting from my DM I am screwing everything up and I don't see how I can do any diffrent from what I am.

If I'm held up at a shipper long enough that it is going to delay me to the 99, then again I'm talking to my DM. If they can change the appt time (with enough notice) for a bone head mistake on my end (which they have done before) then they can also change it for a shipper delay.

My trainer tried to burn this into my head. If you are going to be late for any reason you need to let your DM know the minute you know. The earlier you let them know of problems the better chance of getting an appt time changed.

And if they cant? My DM told me once to just mac 13 like I arrived on time. I hate to sit, so a 21 hour delay would have me making some phone calls at the 10 hour mark. The most I've waited was 18 hours and if it wasn't for the fact that the load was my ticket home we would have looked for something else out of Ohio that week.

With the 21 hour delay on the previous load I would have been communicating about issues for the 01 p/u time and subsequent delivery to the 02 (and I assume 99 after that.)

The question is, without the delay did you have enough hours in the tank to deliver at the 99 and then make it to the 01 and that loads deliveries on time? With your twenty hour delay factored in I assume your loads were booked with the idea you would be taking a ten somewhere either between the 99 and the 01 or the 01 and the 02. Without knowing more that's just a guess.

I'm in a situation just like you described unloader. My first 2 loads. load 1 pickup at 1000 live load. doesn't deliver until 2000. then I get a second load. Picks up at 1600 the same day I deliver my last load. Someone tell me how that works. My first load is americold. So I'm pretty sure we'll drop. But my DM went home. so I just hit reply and said "this picks up at 1600 and my previous load doesn't deliver until 2000. will we be dropping?" And didn't Mac 11 it. so hopefully its still there in the morning. Even if I do drop. It'll be tight timing. so hopefully they are quick to load me at americold.

Also. got my truck. white cascadia. 2011 with 214k on it. Must of been an owner ops truck because its got a 13 speed in it. it was pretty dirty inside. so I got the "shop" in Rochelle to reclean it.

You got a phone number for the 99 on the first load? I'd say it's a drop but honestly I've only dropped one time at an Americold location. Anyway give the 99 a buzz and see if it's a drop or a live unload.

Post up the LOC code and one of us probably knows if it's a drop location. Also, the LOC code at the 01, for the same reason. Some locations all come as live load even though they're all preload. My load this morning, for example, was live load last night at 2300, but having been to this location many times I knew it would be there waiting whenever I rolled out of bed.

Don't reply to psets, send a mac01. Your reply will go to who knows where and never be seen by anyone, whereas a mac01 is read by whoever is watching your fleet, day, night, weekend, or at lunch time.

Should I wait for my DM, or just call them right away? I guess it probably wouldnt matter to the DM whether or not it was a drop or live unload. as long as I have an empty coming out. My DM is brand new. RIght now he has me and 1 other driver. Gonna be an interesting ride.
