I wouldnt recommend running it at much more then 1800 for extended periods of time...you will end up with bent pushrods. Everybody seems to be scared to take an engine over 2100, but there is a youtube vid with a C15 block, crank, rods n pistons that they turned over at 7400RPM for 10 mins n no issues. I will at times let my engine run to 2300-2400 but not for long. How much boost are you making at 1800???

Cummins are the ones that told me to run mine up to 2350 RPM. Never had any issues with any of the N14's I've had.

I took my turbo apart and found a nice hole inside.. needless to say with a new turbo and actual backpressure things seem to be working nicely now...

Hey PB...can you recommend a shop to check out a driveline vibration/change out a U joint? Preferrably somewhere close to the yellowhead n not gonna try to rake me over the coals...?

Check your ride height to see if it's set to factory specs. If not, that changes the angle of the driveline that can cause the vibration. When I bought my Freightliner (brand new) we had to shim the steady bearing about 3/8ths of an each to stop the vibration. Try Pat's Drive Line Service.

DD15s have some serious jaking power. My last truck was a DD15, and the brake lights were wired to come on in third stage.
