That's why i run a flat-top truck. When I was running containers, i had a short stack on the FLD and was able to clear anything over 9'8". My stacks on my truck now are 12' high and I want to change that soon.

Got a call from a lady today doing a satisfaction survey. Left me a voice mail and said "even though you no longer work for Melton, we'd still appreciate any feedback on what you liked and how we could improve".

Thinking about telling them "How about you tell your employees you're terminating their employment before a survey taker lets them know you have no job".......

A guy just has to love getting a call 4 hours before his unload appointment asking if he can get there ASAP and then waiting 2 hours for them to make a 2 second pick to unload the reel. ######## anyway.

We came on a low bridge in NW Mass. Stopped in front, cop down the road came down and said I'll stop traffic, you can ease through on the opposite side. I think the height difference was 13'7 to 13'4. No tickets given, no reports written up
