I wear glasses. I always have, always will and if a girlfriend suggests that I wear contacts ill break up with her (but its not like i'll get one anyway so problem solved)

when I took my tests to get my ODL permit and my full license when I was 17 I took the test without glasses in the event my glasses are lost, broken, incapacitated, etc.

when I went to Truck Driving school the doctors told me on my physical I NEED glasses, the state of Indiana when they issued me my ODL and my permit said "you WILL wear glasses" but fortunatly when I went home to Missouri they reprinted my ODL without glasses (they were a little mad with Indiana)

so my medical card said I needed glasses but my CDL said I didn't is that a ticketable offence?

a few days ago I went to get a new DOT physical, they told me I dont need glasses and that matched up with my CDL. so my new question is can I get in trouble for wearing glasses despie the fact that my paperwork says I don't need them?

if you are confused send me a reply or a message telling me where you are confused and ill try to clear it up

What is your vision? If you do the eye test without glasses, then your vision cannot be all that bad.

I forget what the doctor said, but i'm kind of going to the eye doctor every 6 years so its hard to get a straight answer. however I can see without them, does that answer your question?

I can drive without glasses, and perform functions without glasses, and heck, I spent 7 weeks in Basic Training without glasses. I could barley shoot but it got worse when I got my glasses. I WILL NOT go to the local shooting range without glasses, i'm too afraid to try. I can drive without glasses, its not my choice but I can

i've been wearing bifocals my whole life though

I think if you shoot with glasses on then you might consider you need to drive with glasses on. What is the problem with glasses?

I intentially took the test without them in the event that my glasses were out of commission for whatever reason (I know me...I know how much I suck. it was a way for me to cover my ### in the event I pull a "me")

I think I have 2 anicdotes to back my case up if you want to hear them
