The main ones I see parking there are the bottom feeders, so you wanna talk about hauling cheap freight? I avoid TA all together unless nature is calling at an extreme case and no other option is available...STexan Thanks this.

LOL True true true. One can probably count on one hand the number of "expensive freight" haulers in the reserved parking areas ... That's rich
-
its not really that, just ones who 10 t 12 bucks aint gonna bankrupt em. its just another tool to use to mangae your time, no different than gps, google earth, having a printer scanner copier and internet card, so I can send and receive faxes straight from the truck and scan in my bills etc. just another tool, plain and simpleMJ1657 Thanks this.

Welcome to the future. The majors have been waiting for years to figure out a way to charge for parking. The reservation system works and will become more widespread as time and HOS rules get more aggressively enforced.
-
HAHA! That's good!
-
I think the real reason is setting us up for violating HOS where fines can be imposed or the nightmarish accidental death costing us either 15 in the slammer or $50,000 out of our bank accounts.

I was told last week that the Petro in Oak Grove used to charge for parking but dropped it, I didn't get a reason but I guess there was some complaining about it.
-
Actually no u can't. The Roanoke ta redid there parking lot and Google maps shows the old layout.
-
Actually since your bound to park to at the TA and steal some reserved spot, you can use the Ta app it'll tell u roughly how many spots are available even how many reserved is available. Extremely handy in North East. And as for cop moving you I've seen it done in new Hampshire Ta. driver was being a azzxx and not leaving spot. Cops got called in and driver got booted from properties.
