LOL! Keep it up!! You'll end up like the azzhat I saw TOWED off the TA in in Youngstown last week. When he protested too much, the cops found him a room at the local lockup as well.

Lawyer membership groups are becoming the new thing among truckers. If you're OD then you're OD and there will be legal problems for truck stops as well as towers.

what would that to do with anything,if you park in a paid spot and don't pay you are a thief. its simple , do like most folks , if you are od use your head, reserve it ahead, pay for it. then ya wont need lawyers and such. something makes me think these who steal paid parking spots are the same folks who throw trash in parking lots and pee on toilet lids. I in fact asked security guard at t/a Baytown what they do if someone parks and doesn't pay in a reserve spot, if they don't move they get towed.

A tow truck can't tow a vehicle with the driver in it but a cop can remove you from the vehicle. Keep in mind T/A is private property and at any point you can be told to leave or be trespassed. Even off duty, you will either have to move the truck or get it towed. Just because you are off duty means nothing. That is were the towing would come into play.

But onto the reserved parking, I hate it, I won't use it, my company will pay me back if I have to but I still won't. I get the idea behind it, but its made a bad situation worst at a lot of smaller T/As. If you look at the app, a lot of the stops with less than 120 spots have blocked off 20-25 for reserved parking, will the stops with 150+ only have around 10-15 blocked off. Either way its not going away and look for more Truck stops to start doing it in place of having the whole lot pay to park or buy x amount of fuel/product. They are making more off the 20 spots a night guys have to pay for than the guys who just buy fuel to park.

So what do you do, if you have a late appointment, and you know full well there wont be any parking at the truck stop, when you get released from appointment?

see I happen to like it and I think its made a bad situation better at the smaller t/a's I often reserve my spots 2 to 3 days ahead. then I one thing under under control, it like when I take the family to an amusement park, I always pay extra for the front of the line passes you can pay for. its one of the perks of being an old guy who aint broke

All the truckers saying they don't have a problem with paying for spots...do you pay to park at a mall, retail store, banks, fuel stops in pov. The problem that I have is that we are the consumers and I think parking should be first come first serve like most other services. For now I haven't ran into parking issues so the need to pay for parking hasn't been required yet
