I Just Heard That E-Logs Will Be Mandatory In 2015

Wish I could go back to them. To each their own.

 

I love my Elogs too..but don't think they should be mandatory.
But sooner or later they will be..

I have not 'HEARD' this.
Pretty sure it's not true.

Go find the Guy that 'you' heard this from, and punch him in the mouth for spreading a false rumor.

 

It took you 45 minutes to an hour to fill out a paper log?

 

Well, when you can't count, do simple math or draw a straight line with a crayon..........

 

When you have to rewrite last two weeks, sure

 

Well, good for you! If that's what works for you, great! For many of us, though, we don't need a babysitter to get the job done.

 

People have ask"d, you have not answered, so i guess they now all know who it was who started this rumor, sounds like risky business, just sayin.

 

Sadly, you probably denigrated computers and GPS apparatuses too when they first came out. Either that or you have yet to experience the ease of using e-logs.

 

That's about right when you're running 3 logbooks.

My pay actually went up 2 or 3 hundred dollars a week when the company was forced on Elogs. The reason my pay went up so much is the dispatcher couldn't hold loads for their babies and had to give them to who is available. The babies were running false logs. They would hit the terminal after driving 800 miles, then rewrite the paper logs to show they had another 11 hours to drive and grab the next good load. Elogs stopped that.

 

That is your opinion on the subject, I feel however I should have the right to choose. Enough has been forced upon us now.
