I had an S3 after the last verizon update the radio didn't keep a signal. Verizon swapped it out with a motorola and I am happy again. I have always been a motorola fan. The samsung was great until the update. I do NOT like the iphone, I have much more freedom with android.
I second this! I have the Verizon Developers Edition! Best phone I've owned. The ability to customize the colors of the phone is awesome!!
Couple of random thoughts: 1) at least consider the Moto G http://reviews.cnet.com/motorola-moto-g/ (forget that. It looks like the Moto G won't be released to USCC. That means you could begin to save you nickels for the Samsung Galaxy S5, speculated to be out in March) 2) If I understand it correctly, the iPhones have no expandable memory. What that means is, if you get an 8 GB iPhone, you only have 8 GB of stuff you can put on it before you have to start deleting stuff. If you get the 32 GB iPhone, you only have 32 GB worth of stuff you can put on it before you have to begin the deletion process. I also understand in most Android phones, a 32 GB card is the largest card you can put in it. While true, if you get tired on whats on it, you just pull the microSD and insert another, fully loaded, and ready to play. You still have the other 32 GB microSD card handy when you get bored again. I also understand the Android phones are beginning to go the way of non-expandable memory also but there are many good Android phones available. And remember you don't have to purchase NEW phones. You can purchase used phones and do ESN changes. We are not talking illegal stuff here. ESN changes are simply you telling your carrier (USCC) to change the current ESN on your account to another ESN.
What does that mean in English? Verizon no longer has unlimited plans. Most (all?) of the Customers still on unlimited plans are grandfathered in. Has anybody actually used US Cellular OTR? Assuming OTR since OP hasn't mentioned anything different.
Drive axle is a app that uses the camera on your phone to take a picture of any document, in my case, I use it for my BOL's then allows you to email that image to anybody. My company likes it because they can then turn around and bill the same day. Anyway it is a free app.
Thanks juanveldez, I already use CamScanner for that. Great stuff and very useful. Soon transflo will work out the kinks in their app and my company will allow us to use it for scanned docs.
Learning alot so far.Funny i can hack and mod a nintendo wii or orginal xbox but can't pick a smart phone.
Route Man, I know you said you will be putting whichever phone you choose onto USCC and I know next to nothing about that provider, but if you enjoy hacking and modding game systems, you might want to pick up a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 or S4 with a bad ESN and learn about all of the mods that can be done with them and subsequently putting them on a Verizon pre-paid provider. The reason you get it with a bad ESN is because you can get it cheaper than if it were a good ESN. You can modify it and flash it to the Verizon network using the pre-paid carrier's settings and, just like that, you now have a tremendous phone working fully on the Verizon network, using 3G for data (Verizon currently doesn't allow 4G phones on their pre-paid networks, so they must be modified to 3G to fully work).
