Will I be able to plug my CPAP machine into an AC receptacle powered by the epu or do I need a DC plug to plug into the cigarette lighter receptacle?

I am attending Phase 1 in Gary next week and off to Phase 2 the week after. Do I need to request a trainer with an inverter or are they standard in each truck?

I assumed he meant for Roehl. Roehls is strict on comapny truck stuff and only use their inverters, which only work two hours a day. So need a DC plug for Roehl.

Only if it's a O/O trainer with an APU.

However, you can probably get a low wattage inverter that plugs into cig lighter as well. But nothing really big. For one that's actually installed, you need to buy it through Roehl and their techs install them.

Get the dc power supply. It will plug I to a power point just fine and no need to run the truck. I have one in my truck and it works all night and I run humidity too with no problems.

    Bayle and larslv Thank this.

Thank you everyone. I have a DC adapter to bring along with my old machine until my new machine gets here. I will survive! :)

What kind of dc adapter did you get. I have a cpap also so bi need to get one too. Is it just a piece that you plug you machine into than you can plug it into a cigarette lighter slot.
