Major interstates outside of metro areas. Going through the bigger cities, it slows down to 65. Zanesville is still 55, last time I went through. But between the cities, it's 70 for everyone! Even some of the US Routes are 70 for all, though some are still 65/55.

Now if Cali can just get it together. We'll be set. Seen an accident once yrs ago, on I-10 east. Car ran into the back of the trailer doing 75. The truck was going 55. It almost killed her. You would think after a mess like that. the state would get with it.

The bypass signs haven't worked in 6 months since they started the construction right there because they have to have the power cut to them because they're digging up the ground. My dad got pulled around back at those scales on 20 east in ATL the other day. Pulled him around back and asked if they knew why he was pulled back. He said no. She said, "You were speeding. 31mph in a 30mph" (those scales say maintain 30mph). He gave her a confused look and she held him on the scale for about 2 minutes then told him to go and slow down. It's the old lady that has been there for years. He said that is the first time that has ever happened to him in 33years of driving. GA has been a-holes here lately.

They gave me the red light the other night and brought me around back and said "You have some lights out" I said "where at I've got some spares in the bunk I didn't know they were out" he pointed at two just below the door on the riders side I jumped put and walked around and I had 2 diodes of the light burning, 2 diodes were out, according to law if one LED is burning it's legal. I still replaced both of them.

I've gotta say something,.. and this may come across as insulting. But I have to know. Why do people feel the need to tell everyone else their personal business?

Personally if I ever get a speeding ticket,.. the last place I would divulge such information would be to fellow truckers on a forum who will no doubt judge and share obnoxious opinions about my idiocy if I had gotten a speeding ticket,.. albeit even a warning ticket.

To me it makes no sense. Does modesty and discretion even exist any more?

I'm no saint,.. and if,.. when I do get a ticket,.. it will no doubt be in Cali. I have the hardest time staying at 55. So thankful my truck isnt legal in Cali anymore.

I was under the impression this forum offered a bit of advise and insight for those less experienced. Other then that,.. I suppose your right,.. its no different then the "Look at me" Face Book critters with 1000 selfy portraits.

Why cant it all be the same?..enter when flashing...bypass when fllashing..maintain speed..stop on scLe..2mph on scale....if it was universal thered be less clutter in the coop
