    I noticed a memo at the Knoxville center earlier today. Apparently Averitt is relaxing on the facial hair rule. It looks like us guys are now permitted to have a beard as long as it is kept neat. I was reading the image policy on Inside Averitt and it has been updated to reflect the beard rules. I'm happy because I've worn a beard for the last 15 years and had to shave it a couple of months ago in order to work for Averitt. I'm digging the new allowance for the beard. Sweet!

    YES!!!! I was hoping that they would go through with it. And to think I just shaved mine off for Monday. :p

    Are you being serious? I'm not sure of the law, but religious freedom would seem to cover beards of Muslims, which supersedes company policy.

    I was told this week at a interview that closely trimmed mustache or Goatees are OK, I don't think beard was mentioned.

    I was told that the beard is fine up to 1/2 inch thickness.
