I want to thank Evergreen Industries, Inc. for deciding to start paying flatbed drivers closer to what they are worth. It's a big step in the right direction.

Yep....you are out of touch. Not everyone gives a crap about LTL...and absolutely nobody cares what YOU make. At todays OVER-THE-ROAD going base rate, .47cpm is pretty good.

Percentage is the only way to be paid. CPM is a ripoff.

Ask yourself this: How much is 30% of Zero? That's exactly how much you made on your last deadhead.

Let's see...... one of our typical runs done by our company drivers 430 miles $1400, dead head 60 miles, pick up reload and go 250 back for $1000. Then dead head 220 back to the home terminal. At 30 % that is $420 plus $300 = $720 for for 960 miles. About $.75 per mile.
If I were a company driver I think I would look for a percentage.
maybe I need to buy another truck and offer 50 cents per mile......hmmmmm

Dominick253, zenaddler and MJ1657 Thank this.
