I did a Thursday pm to Sat am Delaware to Dallas dog ride when I started at Stevens... Its. Long time on a bus. Hang in there.
It is what it is,,,, The first day of the next chapter in my life and I am looking forward to what comes my way. Good or bad.
Diesel fumes, pee smell, body odor, ungrateful people, breakdowns, late schedules, unhappy driver, fast food, boredom, rolling down the highway . . . . . . greyhound is the perfect introduction the the trucking biz. Enjoy.
Or, in my case while heading to Stevens in Dallas years ago, my bus getting pulled off the Interstate (at the request of the driver) and having everyone's personal belongings and luggage opened and searched by two burly Texas sheriff deputies. Who had no sense of humor and who did not take kindly to my asking if a general search of everyone's belonging, topside and in the belly, looking for evidence of possible marihuana use by a passenger, was a valid, legal search. BIG mistake. I promise I will never question your law enforcement officers actions again in Texas, Governor Perry!
Wow, I forgot about our unscheduled stop outside DC... Police were looking for a murder suspect who was reported to have boarded a southbound bus... I heard later they found him on a bus in Norfolk.
You got to start somewhere and down the road you can look back and laugh at the BS you put up with and say " wow I made it." Happy New Year
