You'd be surprised at how many offices and stores are video taped 24x7.

How low will you go? You guys want better treatment for drivers. You feel that drivers are underpaid and under appreciated. You complain about your lot in life. But when some desk jockey gets a new bright idea about what new object he can stick in your posteriors, you say, "Well, this is the way it is...if I want a job, I have to be willing to allow strangers to stick stuff in dark places."

Thankfully, that's not the way it is in the entire industry. Just the bottomfeeder do this. And just you people who lack a spine and who lack ambition. You guys are the industry equivalents to white slavery. If you don't want strange people porking you, put a stop to it. There is a way out.

Heck, they have Helplines for little teen prostitutes and flyers at every truckstop, someone should make one for you guys. "Driver, are you getting porked by strange people you've never met? Does being compliant to company policy mean that you are forced to do something shameful and uncomfortable? Do you eat at Carl Jrs because you're too ashamed to look a real driver in the eye? Does your butt hurt? There is help. Call now."

All you really have to do is REFUSE. Don't look to the guvment to protect you, do it yourself.

The street corner girl has the same reasoning. You need to work, YES, but you don't have to take a crappy job.

Yup. Put your foot down. "This is the way it's going to be." I worked with drivers who'd have a heck of a time getting time off for doctors appointments, sick spouses/kids, or whatever other legitimate reasons they'd give dispatch. Me? "I'm taking the day off, so don't put anything on me." No questions asked. No hard time given. I just don't put up with BS. If I have something I need to do, I'm not going to tolerate somebody telling me I can't do it. I know I can find work with a phone call or have my pick of jobs with a couple phone calls. With all of the talk about a "driver shortage", why would any driver who's worth his pay be afraid to stand up for himself? The only ones who should be concerned are the ones who can't hack it...

If my truck ever has a rear facing camera I will put on a show that will ensure the camera is disabled.

More likely you'd have all the office girls fired cause they weren't doing their job, just all mesmerized by watching your cam lol
