Best SE regional for my experience level?

    That puts you in a good spot for all of those China listed. I wasn't sure about A & R but I believe you are close enough to their Atlanta-area terminal for them to consider you.

    Also, this one doesn't meet your home-time requirement, but if you want to get good training and experience in something other than a box, you could try Schneider Bulk (tanks). Six (6) days off per month (your choice of days).

    I have thought of schneider. They have some good home time options, but im not so sure I liked the pay.:mshocked:

    I have no idea what they pay the Bulk drivers. Just remember, pulling a tank, not all of your pay is made up of mileage pay. Some of it is loading/unloading, waiting while getting a wash-out, etc. If you only look at the pay-per-mile, you are not seeing the whole picture.

    Shoot, I just looked again at the SNI (Schneider) website. They are also listing a regional, home weekly tank job. And you are correct, if you want to pull a box, there is several opportunities for that with them.

    Until you get some experience built up, they could be an option for you.

    Ill have to re check that then. I didnt think about possible unload pay. I actually really like some of schneiders home times and i think it was schneider that actually had pretty good med dent.

    I just really want to make sure i have all my options being that i understand the industry a bit better now, and not just jump in some where when i could have better options which i feel i did before.

    I have also seen millis hiring a lot and i havent really had them on my list for a reason i cant remember, but if they require a year then, yeh that was probably the reason!

    I thought Millis took all levels of experience. On their website, it says "inexperienced and experienced drivers". Granted, the pay-per-mile is kinda low but for your 6 months or so experience, you could do worse.

    If you have less than one year of experience they want you to go through their school. They only take drivers from other schools with one year or more of experience.

    I was there for two years and one of the reasons I went there was because of the GOOD pay. Maybe they haven't updated their website but I was making 39cpm right out of school and was up to 44cpm when I left.
