Mainly because you can get twice the amount of house for the same amount of money.

No I don't work there, just very familiar with their operation.

I'd love warmer weather, n cheaper housing & lower taxes.

Green Bay is about 30% housing cost compared to
Portsmouth NH , Toms River NJ or Manteo NC
but there is no Atlantic Ocean in WI

LOL I moved here in April from CT and I have not run into any body yet born here in NC LOL

I don't know what you bought but the wife and I were able to sell our house in south west CT and bought a house about the same size but land went from less that a 1/4 acre to 3.7 acres and MY garage/work shop is the size of most apartments back in CT all for half what we sold our CT house for so we paid cash for everything down here.
We also did it because the winters "should" not be as bad. We had a lot of snow last winter and -9 f a few days when I go to my home heating oil truck. That is cold to have to drag hose in!

As for the OP question I would also stick it out to the 1 year mark. BTW that is not bad money for a week I hate to say this but I make about that in 2 weeks :(
I just started and will also stick it out for a year then move on if it does not get better.

Many people from the Northern states move to Tennessee; no personal income taxe. Many move to Crossville, TN and Renegade Mountain, TN which is near Crossville.
I'm from Tennesse, but moved to Las Vegas; some of us just can't be still.
