I have a conviction that's 15 years old, also was charged 10yrs ago but that case ended up being a no prosecution. Question I have is will I have any problems getting hired? Especially concerned with the no prosecution case.

Hard to say with so little facts but trucking companies look really hard at anything having to do with your driving if these cases involved accidents hit and runs dui reckless driving you might have trouble at some companies but 10 and 15 years is a long time ago and you should be alright.

Depends on what it was. A drug charge will be scrutinized (as we saw in a previous thread)

True drugs another bad one . I'm not sure about rape murder and robbery but those probably aren't as bad as drugs or dui

True that. Can't answer the question without knowing the conviction.

I have no problem owning my actions. Conviction was for fraud (took more benefits than was due me.) . Other charge was false accounting entry's , which boiled down to changing customers address with out verifying, and they disappeared with merchandise. Long story short I embarrassed the regional manager in front of half the company, by calling him out on lies he retaliated by firing me and trying to put me into a legal situation.

I don't think that will prevent you from trucking. Just be honest about it and you should be ok.

My advice call some companies be honest and see what their recruiter has to say they will take a look at you and tell you straight up if your a go or no go but don't just check with one company if you get bad news.

I think with the exception of SNI, Walmart and a small number of others, he should be fine.
