My passenger mirror was recently replaced. I can move it, angle it around but it won't stay in one place. After I get rolling and hitting some good bumps the thing is back to facing 2 lanes over. Any ideas on how to tighten up the mirror???? Maybe the ball needs something in between the mount to create that friction? put some grease to it? its driving me nuts

Thing is, I just got rid of all the duct tape. Wiper blades mirrors and all. It was pretty bad and pretty risky. I've still gotta install the lights on the box that were missing. Trying to get this thing right you know?

My front right brake can #### it's guts out two days ago, I crimped the air line and kept running.

Point is, if its a pinch, do what you got to do.

I am assuming that you are talking about the convex mirror. If that is what you are talking about there is 3 Phillips screws around the "ball" set the mirror where you need it and tighten the screws down fairly tight.

Well if you mean my spot mirror its fine thats the only way i can see my passenger side currently its my BIG mirror thats giving me problems... I tried tightening the screws behind the ball but they're bout as tight as they're gonna go screwing them by hand with a screw driver...
