Some poor guy from some eastern European country kept asking me every time the bus stopped on a Dallas to El Paso run if we were in Los Angeles.

By the time we got to Van Horn it was all I could do to avoid saying "Yes!"

Every high school dropout in America is on a bus. Their biggest problem in life is that they never learned to listen.
Bus driver will announce the name of the town and jow long they will be stopping. On a 5 minute stop, 3/4 passengers will exit the bus and go inside and order food from the restaurant.

I cant think of a worse driving job than a bus driver. There is nothing in our industry that even comes close to comparing.

I actually cheered the bus driver that uppercut that fool of a girl after she hit him. He even warned her, "Youre going to hell now. "

And even when you buy tickets online, just like for airlines and train tickets, there's a breakdown of how long the trip will actually take.
If that's enough for one to pony up and rent a car to cut down on the trip-time, then one should already be aware of how long they'll be cooped up.
