Is this an epidemic? I was looking at my friends account receivables in his aging AR summary. He has nine companies that are out 180 days plus on freight bills. Do they expect the people to provide free service today? I told the women in the accounts payable department, excuse me it's Friday did you get a paycheck today Madam? She replies well yes I did. Then I got really nasty with her. Long story short they transferred funds and payed.down almost eighty percent of what was owed. He got his eight grand today and some stress relief. Just eight more companies to go now. It's getting really tough to be the small guy in this market today.
