The 58 mph on the pedal is the kicker. Nothing like slowing down when you try to pass something.

Glad you're happy you're doing what you're doing. However, get ready for a lot of folks to drop in on your thread and tell you why you shouldn't be and why you won't be happy for too long. ;-)

I must admit, that the prospect of having that much responsibility as a lease op and having to stay out for a month or two at a time in order to average 12k miles a month for 55 cpm pre-tax, is not my cup of tea.

    But more power to you!

How else are they going to entice drivers to move over to the fleece side? An extra 3 MPH? Where do I sign?

I don't want to be too hard on Prime. I know a lot of drivers do good there on both sides but I feel sure many don't do so good either. No room for slackers or depressed freight periods or events out of your control. But that can be said for all lease programs, I suppose.

I conversate with a driver on facebook who is in the middle of his second year with a prime lease and swears by it. No wife or kids, no responsibilities at home. So its no wander why hes doing good

700 miles worth of drive time completely wasted per week. Same problem here. It's pretty easy to turn out 600 miles a day at 62, so you could get in ~700 at 70. They just waste our clocks by having us poke around like snails in superglue.
