Have 14 scheduled but I'm not sure I can stay away that long. Just gonna play it by ear after I get done with the needed things.

Okay, dumb question time: How do I turn the heater on in a Volvo when the truck isn't idling? It's a bit chilly in here this morning, and messing with the temp control back here in the bunk isn't doing anything. The air that's coming out of the vents is cold.

Press the button that says menu/snooze 3 times til you get the option for heat. The word heat will be flashing on the left side. While it is flashing press the on/off button to turn it on, then quickly press the set button. The word heat will now stay illuminated in the upper left hand corner. Turn the temp dial to wherever you want. After a few seconds you should here the bunk heater start clicking away, and blowing air. May take 3-5 mins before it's hot.
If you have trouble I also sent you a pm with my number. Call me and I'll walk you through it

    Bit of a pain but,
    1) Press the Menu button (center of the top round knob) until you see "Heat".
    2) Press the On/Off button until it reads ON.
    3) Press the SET button to set it to ON.
Use the temp control (lower round knob) to adjust the temp.

If it's working you should both, see the panel lights flicker a bit and hear a faint clicking sound of the igniter.

@460/580 just wanting to compare notes here. I was talking to my fleet manager and asked about the receipt on the cat scale paid thru efs, and he said "no" it wasn't needed. Told me drivers were using the efs card to pay for the scale ticket but never transflowing a scale ticket in. He told me as long as I scanned it the scale ticket, a receipt wasn't needed. (I use cat scale app thanks to @MidWest_MacDaddy )

Now you know how communication is, ask 5 people get 17 different answers but I just thought I'd throw that out there. But thanks for the info, from the meeting.

14 days? I wouldn't want to come to work after that long. It'd feel like retirement. But enjoy it.
