    Aanndd...minutes after posting this, I almost got run over by a parking lot speeding through the truck stop parking lot! <sigh>

    He was really booking it! At least he stopped and apologized. He said he didn't see me because he was looking at the fuel island. Told him to slow the heck down next time. I think I was in his mirror blind spot. As he was coming in, I thought, hmmm, don't think he sees me, so I started back peddling. He still came about 2 feet from me.
    It certainly did. A parking lot is a car hauler, in case you didn't know.

    Wow - that would be (one of) my biggest fears. Being in the sleeper during a rollover. Driver is pretty well restrained - sleeping guy just flies like a rag doll.

    Glad the AMX guys made it out OK.

    No! No! No! Not until about 2 weeks before Christmas (if then)! My hubby says I'm the original grinch! He could listen to it all year.

    I feel really bad for folks who work in retail and have to listen to it all the time while working. I'd be in the looney bin.

    After 21 hours in this truck stop, I finally got an assignment: Deadhead to Hill Phoenix in Colonial Heights.

    I am supposed to drop the empty there and see if there's a loaded one to take back to the yard, right?
