Truck Parking in Pinellas County, FL

I am a new driver from Central Pinellas County in Florida. Anyone have insight as to a secure location where I could park my company truck in the area? The requirements for my company to approve the site would be a gated lot with surveillance but they will approve one without it but it must be gated. They will not allow me to drop the trailer and bobtail home, it must be stay connected.

 

I would think your company would help you find a place.

 

Nope, they said parking is on us. If I can not find a location I can park at my parents house about 50 miles away and they said that is fine, just trying to find other options close to where I live.

 

Look up RV storage sites, and call heavy wrecker yards.

Heavy wrecker yards are gated with surveillance, and most would be happy to let you park there for a monthly/nightly fee.

 

Good idea. I will check that out. There is a big one not far from me.

 

I'll ring up some of the wife's family this weekend for some ideas, as well.

 

I'd try Paradise Lakes Nudist Resort, right there by Tampa, as a first choice.
Google for parking spots....lol

 

Is that an extension of the Titusville place?

 

I don't know. Friend of mine was in management in the meat department at Winn-Dixie in Sarasota and had to go there every week to arrange orders for their facilities. He told me, he wasn't impressed and most of them would look much better fully dressed; there were a few exceptions, but very few. I've been to a few of those places including St. Martin and Isle of Capri and about 99% of the people looked real good.
