I've run for both ASF and universal and ASF was by far the better conpany. I left them when frieght died last year and went to Universal. Huge mistake. Universal has never fulfilled their suggestions of "too much frieght" or the classic "$2500 take home weekly." Try $600 take home weekly. Run away from universal, may as well run for jbhunt, at least they don't nickel and dime you like Universal. Not to mention, you pay for faulty equipment. So if a trailer tire blows, which anyone who hauls containers knows is common, you pay out of pocket.
They are a bunch of dam crooks now they trying switch there name from asf to middlebay but they are the same company in Norfolk VA trying cover up all the money they stealing from drivers it's so sad we driver can't get paid what we deserve an worth smh
