Care to advise activity pay and break it down per activity? Does that vary by D.C as well?

For the new guys? Nobody knows. For us at current rate. Its $18.25 for a Drop& Hook Activity. 21.25 for a Live Load & Live Unload for first 45 minutes. After 45 Minutes you get paid @ rate of $14 hour wait time. Which they pay by the minute. $42 to Layover/ Sleep in Tractor. Hope this helps.

Base Pay is same nation wide, but Ive heard in California they pay their guys an additional premium to deliver in Los Angeles area. Maybe Back is Sore can confirm that.

I don't see how you figure you lose money by losing your truck, you will still be working 5 days

What about on duty time pre-trip, post trip, fuel?

dobyou get paid per hook and drop? So if you drop your live load trailer and have to move a trailer for the store you get 18.25 x 2 then the 21.25 for the first 45 then $14 per hour up to the minute during the unload? Sound right or no?

If you get on a 6/3 or 5/2 5/3 you lose money. Youll be getting an average of a 9 day paycheck versus 10. I should know, I got off extra board 5/2 and onto a 5/2 5/3 . ADP WAS $403 on Extra Board. Now its $ 345. Don't forget about the guys that worked a 6th day here and there . If you lose your assinged truck but still wish to work a set 5/2 schedule your only option is to go Extra board. Woo hoo! Slip seating 1-3 times a week again.

At my husbands DC, they were told that noone would lose their truck. They would take it into whatever program they end up in. He just had his meeting on Monday.

You get jack #### for on duty activity like pre and post trip and Fueling & washing and Vacuuming your truck. There is no double pay. In your scenario, you get to store and its a live unload Grocery Delivery. You get $21.25 for first 45 minutes. After that you get wait time rate up to minute. If a Mgr says " hey bud , I need that trailer out on parking lot backed into that dock" which does happen. You'd take your happy self back outside, drop your trailer and shuttle that other trailer where its needed. In that scenario you get to bill that as Unscheduled Time. Its $14 an hour. If you spent 15 minutes doing that you get $3.50 in addition to ur live Unload. It sounds complicated but its not. Another scenario that we WmT Drivers hate is getting to a store and having to move a trailer out of a dock to have a dock to Back In your Trailer on your back. If that happens you still only get paid your drop n hook pay or Live unload pay. No xtra brownie points for the double work. Its part of the deal. Take good with the bad.
