Great goal but you will have to do better than a mega to reach it in that time frame.

 

Well I'm making $70,000 in my first year with a mega. So if I play my cards right then I think it's possible. But I agree, latter on down the road it might be better to look for a small company.

 

Ok you are making 70k but how much time are you spending out there? I make over that and only run 4 days on a straight dedicated....team of course.

24/7, I haven't been home in over 4 months and I'm planning to stay out until Christmas time. But I understand that it takes a few years and some hard work to get better pay/life. As someone with under a year of experience it's hard to find good paying jobs with a good balance of home/work. It's not like someone is just going to hand it to me. Yeah I would like to make more money and I'm sure I will as time goes by.

 

Not sure how many pucks you took to the head.

But, don't let them talk you in to leasing, you wont do better.
And trucks dont skate on ice.

O/P you have the right attitude. Get your year in and more doors will open for you

 

After a year toss them and look up driver temp companies in your area like Prodrivers and others. Tell them you are team too.

 

Megas are fine with me,its nice having yards everywhere and a large trailer pool for drop and hook..although I'd take less money to run lanes I like.
I like the desert.

 

There going to have to pay more than 25 cpm to get team drivers.
