    At my company the yard and shuttle guys were making over 25 an hr. As of a few months ago the new hires who take that position will start at 19 an hr while the current guys are "grandfathered" in

    How can everybody else be raising pay when
    Walmart just dropped there pay .10 cpm.

    Many costs in owning a fleet of thousands of trucks. Could be insurance, EGR/DPF/SCR, health care, fuel, regulations, anything could effect their bottom line... Maybe Amazon?

    WAIT! I thought companies had endless cashflows and they always skimped on giving it to the driver.
    At least thats the way it seems. Everybody is always saying how they aren't paid enough....

    So you don't pay taxes on W 2? And do you think that insurance you have is free? I prefer 1099, you W2 and it's all good-)
