I was looking to get into your line in the same area but it sounds like one can barely make $700 a week. If I were to get my own truck, what do you estimate would be remaining after expenses and how much in fuel you use a week if I may ask?

Use between $800-$1000 in fuel. It works out for me to be right around 50% bring home after brokerage, fuel, insurance and now trailer rental

Why is it a lie??? I am not saying itisn't but a why would be nice.
Gravel and asphalt is one of the best paying trucking gigs there is around here.
    Side dump 145 per hour.
    belly dump 135 per hour.
10 wheel end dump 135 per hour.
Most jobs go 12 hour days, some run 2 shifts, and 7 days a week.
If you go out of town it pays better. I have gotten 1800 a day straight pay, based on a 12 hour day, pulling their trailer and burning their fuel.
I just hate going round and round. lol
