I live in WV and I'm looking at Shaffer. According to their website, the only jobs from wv is their "45 day National OTR". I' not staying out 45 days at a time. I talked to a recruiter...her response was "really....Im not sure on that" so I figured I'd ask the drivers to explain. Help please?
It's Shaffer, and this is their section of ttr. Why does it involve you if you don't work for them? Why would I quit looking at them? Do you know if they pay better than where Im at currently, or if the benefits are better?? No...no you don't. Problem "solved" indeed.
How is National 45 OTR option? The recruiter I spoke to (didn't get her name) said she wasn't sure. That's why I'm trying to ask Shaffer drivers to explain if they are on this schedule, or if this schedule is accurate or not.
You don't want reefer....don't let the cpm fool you. Certain states are 45 RDO 'Required Days Out' as freight is sparse to get you home. Numerous western states are 45's as is Maine,New Hamphire if memory serves correct. I don't buy WV being a 45 RDO !
