first, the labor board cannot do a thing, (i don't know why people say call them....) all they can do is make sure an employer pays at least minimum wage as per the state minimum wage, if your husband is OWED money, they cannot do anything.

go and get a lawyer, and have him/her send a letter to the deadbeat employer, that he will be taken to court. the letter from the lawyer will cost you anywhere from $20.00 to $100.00

the cops cannot do anything, it is a civil matter.
    good luck.

This sounds most correct to me. I mean, 5 months. And of course the wife is posting. ZOMG LOL.

The guy said "Just trust me." And you agreed to.
End of story from my point of view.

Huge difference in "not guaranteed" and "never" like you claimed.

Heck, it takes what? 10-30 minutes to fill out the forms? Why would one not do it? Well, unless the company has already filed for, and cleared the courts for bankruptcy.

No, people should file with the labor board, as even the off chance is still a chance.

in the end, they won't do anything. best to get a lawyer.

i still say they cannot do anything.

one would have a better chance of sticking a thumb up thier behind, then to go to the labor board.

and for the record, you MISQUOTED ME......here is what i said..."first, the labor board cannot do a thing"

    show me where i said...."never".....

Why do these people always put it on their wives to complain? Isnt the husband capable of doing his own complaining?
